Van quit on a road trip. 70 Transporter stock 1600 Started stalling and sputtering going through the Shasta grades. Had been running fine for 3000 miles, well, fine for loaded down 99% stock old vw bus. Kind of a mystery problem I couldn't figure out and no place to tinker with it. Had it towed to William's shop. Like most VW shops he's swamped but got the bus going in 3 days. Thanks William. Bus did run better after valve adjustment, reset timing, and a carburator rebuild, but up the road it still had the stalling problem. ... read more
I began a two-week trip in my Westy and on night one, the water stopped flowing feom the faucet. When we called, William understandably had a full shop and didn't have a replacement pump on hand. When we thought it might be an electrical problem, he was happy to investigate. He quickly determined the problem was in fact a bad water pump. Then you know what he did? William slayed
Had William do work on my ‘87 Syncro. He had to do some trouble shooting and was happy to do it. Was able to fit me in fairly last minute which was much appreciated!! He fixed my van and his prices were reasonable!! I will be going here from now on!!
