Extremely disappointed with my experience with Dr.Shafquat. For over a year she has been telling me shes not worried about my parathyroid and is more concerned with my weight. She Would constantly ask me if I’m “really taking my vitamin d” Ignoring my health concerns and questioning if I was telling the truth. I had to BEG her for a 24 hour calcium test. Almost killed me, while in Morristown Hospital. Filed a personal complaint with the hospital. I have no thyroid, she blocked all of my thyroid meds. Left me so hypothyroid tbat my organs began shutting down. She then had me sobbing when I was going into a heart procedure and said "Hopefully you dont die" as she walked out of the room. My prinary doctor had to fight her over the phone to restart my thyroid meds.
Dr Shafgat snd everyone in Her office are incredibly helpful and their follow thru is awesome. They worked for almost three weeks to get my insur to approve the necessary medication. Angie and Erika were especially diligent
Dr. shafquat is an awesome doctor my husband has been with her for 2 years and she has straightened what another doc had ruined..so I’m not sure why her rating is so low? She is wonderful!
Very pleased after my first visit with Dr. Shafqat. She spent a great deal of time with me and was extremely helpful.
