Dr. Uy is a good listener, kept me well-informed, and properly managed my expectations. He successfully performed a robotic procedure on my diverticulitis, with minimal pre or post operative complications (every body is different). I highly recommend Dr. Uy for medical consult, and as a practitioner.
He was personable.
Dr. Uy was excellent from the first visit to post surgery. Extremely easy to talk to, informal and down to earth. No one wants to go through surgery, in my case it was cancer surgery, but he and his staff took great care to relieve concerns and assure as much comfort as possible all along the way.
Everything has been top notch with Dr. Uy from day one. So glad he was my surgeon. He is personable, easy to understand, and is knowledgeable while still able to communicate in plain language.
Dr. Uy was strongly recommended by my primary care physician of more than 20yrs for my gallbladder surgery. He was also highly recommended by the GI Specialist my PCP had me see to confirm the diagnosis and necessity for surgery. He proved to be deserving of of their praise. Though his schedule was booked, he promised my doctors he would expedite an appointment. His nurse called me on my way home from the GI consultation and arranged an appointment the following week. I had a laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair operation and Dr. Uy was fantastic. He has such a nice bed-side manner. A very kind Doctor and always available to talk with! He made my surgery a great experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Uy !

I would highly recommend Dr. Uy. From the first office visit, to the day of surgery, he was very informative, and caring. He explained the procedure to my family, while I was in recovery, and I was very happy with the results achieved on my hernia surgery.
