Pros: Great location, clean, just enough amenities, good hot water and heat, comfortable beds. Outdoor grille, fire pit and picnic table were awesome, though climbing up and down while you’re cooking was a little tedious. Cons: Small mall fridge and small toilet, for me were the only drawbacks. It’s one open room so if you need privacy there will be none.
Great place if you want to do a mini vacation the cabins are pretty spread out didn't hear the people around us. And great place for hiking. Would definitely come back. The only thing I would change is for it to be pet friendly.
We love the area and the cabins are clean and comfortable!
08/30/2025 at 3:50 pm was calling local businesses in the area trying to find and ask locals for information on a property nearby (I record historical places) and got hung up immediately, after looking at other reviews as well customer service does not seem to be the strong suit of this establishment, at least I know where to not book a cabin now.
I don't recommend uwharrie cabins the cabins are very nice they are right on top of each other (no privacy the WiFi does not work when we called about it not working the lady let us know quick she was not wanting to help and didn't care They have games for your convenient (all the games are missing pieces) I will not go back and would not recommend to anyone
