Having worked in hospitals all over the US as an RN I’ve had the pleasure of working with numerous flight services. Unfortunately, ALNW is the only service that I would NEVER recommend. Their crews have the largest egos I’ve ever seen in medicine. They treat sending hospital staff (even the MDs) horribly all while spending needless hours at the bedside. The Washington National Primate Research Center has shown that it can't fix its problems. It has been cited multiple times and fined by the government multiple times for violations of animal protection laws. One monkey strangled to death in her own cage. Another died after no one noticed for days that her watering device wasn't working. Please close the primate center now, retire the animals to reputable sanctuaries, and allow them to have the kind of life that they so richly deserve.

How awful! Not impressed! Airlift Northwest (ALNW) chose to terminate the reciprocal agreement between ALNW and Life Flight Network for membership services. This means ALNW will no longer honor Life Flight Network memberships, nor will it allow its members to be covered if transported by Life Flight Network. Hi Lorene, this occurred 7 months ago. We did so to comply with Federal regulations that protect patients with Medicare and Medicaid.
