The best care I’ve ever received. Saved my life. Double transplant. Six month post transplant I’ve never had care as good as UW Madison and their transplant team provides on a daily basis.
A few years ago, my grandpa had an awful heart attack, and they wouldn’t stop coming. UW Health was able to successfully perform heart surgery on him, which saved his life. This hospital then agree to hold him for an extra year so his body could recover. UW Health is known to be one of the best hospitals in the country for heart surgery, which is why he traveled 2 hours by ambulance to get there. I don’t think he’d be alive right now if he went to a normal hospital, but UW Health saved his life and I am forever grateful.
Worst experience ever! This hospital is a nightmare! Just getting to the hospital and parking alone is enough to send you a fit of rage. I was literally stranded in the parking garage with no way to get out. There was no phone reception to call for help. I had to get out of my vehicle and scream for help! Save yourself and avoid this disaster of a hospital.
I can't say enough good about UW-Hospitals & Clinics. My entire surgeries and cancer treatments and recoveries experience would read like a heartwarming novel. Every need has been considered beforehand and every step of the way was met with care and attention from dream-teams of Doctors, Nurses, Specialists, and Coordinators. Such support will remain throughout my continuing recovery and years ahead. Thank you, and Bless you all!
Well I tried patient relations phone number and couldn't leave even a message. I called 3 separate times and the 2nd receptionist was so rude to me but the last lady helped me leave a voice message. The last lady went above and beyond which I am truly grateful for her. I don't know how long for someone with a CFS leak should be left because of playing tag with 2 separate hospitals but I feel 6 months of only 1 CT scan and no communication is right.
