UW Windsor -Deforest location: I have never had a provider as awful as Lauren Brooks. First time seeing her, trying to establish primary care. She was angry through the entire visit, refused to look at me, cut me off every time I spoke. At the very end, she logged out & turned to look at me for the first time in the appointment & proceeded to tell me what a BURDEN I am to her & staff- yes, in those exact words. If only the friendly service one encounters at the Admin Services office reflected the service one receives in the hands of UW Health clinics! Alas, sometimes it's helpful and caring, and sometimes a cold, indifferent, and passive-aggressive "sorry, it's company policy." I'm going to become one of those people who seek reasonably priced and compassionate healthcare overseas. Enough is enough.
