In order to be even considered for an appointment they requested all medical records to be faxed over. I sent 120 pages of my medical records by fax upon request which cost me $. However, they lost my medical records. I confirmed my fax receipt - it was confirmed as sent and it was the right number. When we called and complained to the manager, she said she will look into it. Later she left a voicemail saying the records could not be found. Also, she read a phrase in one of my imaging report (from many months ago) which has ... read more

I had the same experience as some of the other folks here. In order to get an appointment they make you fax the referral and medical records. I had over 200 pages from various specialists that I paid $ to get faxed. Then when I call, they say they will take a few weeks to triage and call me back. Then when I call after few weeks they say they do not have appointments for 3 months or so. Folks on the phone are rude and unhelpful. Lots of red tape. I've called this clinic twice. Both times, after waiting on hold for a long time (which is fine), the woman sounded totally put out by my call complete with a big sigh and curt tone. Now I learn that they won't give me any guidance on what vaccines I need until I pay $200-270 for an appointment. Only at the appointment will they say what I need. Everyone said call the travel clinic to find out what you need...Nope. Call to talk to a rude person and be shaken down for $200.

Things went sour with this department because they aren't trained properly to vet Lyme disease cases. That is not the fault of the doctors, it is a dilemma we are in with the medical establishment. While I was right that I had Lyme disease and wasn't getting proper treatment, this dept. wasn't able to comprehend that. This was 3 years ago now, I have chronic Lyme as a result. I advise people to see a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (many ND's in the area are Lyme literate and will treat properly).
