I've found Porter Medical Center to be great, in the past couple years I've only had care from a few of their departments on a number of occasions, but thus far I've found all of the staff to be great. One of the ENT doctors there, Dr. Anderson, that I've had the majority of my experiences with, has been absolutely great as well as the staff in his department. The doctors here need to re read their ethics ... Fact is they are morally ethically and legally responsible to treat pain but none of them do.... newest update ....I went in with chest pain they decided to give me a panick attack.amd send me home not only with the chest pain that they never finished the testing on that they had originally ordered to find out what was going on but sent me home with the panick attack they gave me .... I felt taken care of after a short wait on a busy Saturday morning for them. All staff members were calm, caring, and great listeners (Im sure they hear many stories and emotions) Consistently kind. Always bring something to drink and read and expect a wait at any er. They moved right along. THEY finally got to eat lunch at 2pm!after everyone was cared for. My 1st visit and very appreciative for a well staffed team on a Saturday. Thank you Porter team:)
There is a RN that is attending and she is rude and has no type bed side manners I have my mother in the ER and sheis just not the person you want to have helping you her name is Cathy and she needs to go back to where she is from
I have had to visit the Porter ER a few times. The wait has never been long and the care I’ve received there has always been thorough, kind, and very high quality. Have I ended up with long term medical bills? Yep.. but that’s a problem with the privatized US healthcare system in general, not Porter!
