The UVa Runner’s Clinic delivers outstanding care to their patients. I have been numerous times for a variety of injuries as an active person, and every time, I’ve been met with compassion, quality care, and extremely competent staff. I’ve specifically had the experience of being seen by Dr. Hryvniak and Dr. Statuta, who I owe much of my running success to due to their thoroughness and carefully crafted return to run plans. Doc was great but office staff and procedures after care were abysmal. Complete inability to get any information to a referral they made but did not send paperwork for. After chatting with providers staff where we were referred to this is a common problem. Doesn’t matter how good the doc is just takes poor office procedures to ruin the experience.
