The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help me deal with severe claustrophobia.
I have been a patient of UVA Imaging for many years and have always been taken care of in a professional manner. However the team I had at my recent appointment went above and beyond. I would like to thank Amanda, Heidi, Josh, and Candice for their outstanding care they provided for me. Each of them went the extra mile to make sure I had a great experience. Thank you very much.
If you are looking to get ultrasound guided biopsy.......save your time and look elsewhere. There is no one to get you scheduled here. I have called numerous times.....left voice messages and no feedback. I actually work at the main hospital and apparently it should be easier for employees to get assistance faster but not in this department. If there is a rating of 0......that's what I would have put.
Their office is a mess. I requested a copy of a CD with my MRI images on it- they said I'd be able to pick it up on my way out of the office. Person at the window says it's not ready yet, can they mail it my house? I say sure, that's fine. 2 weeks later after hearing nothing, I call and they tell me actually the images haven't been reviewed yet (no idea how they expected me to be able to take it home *day of* if they couldn't be bothered to look at it until I called them and pressed them for information). Husband had approved service to have walk on xray of back 7/25. We got the and no referral. Mathis B Acess Associate went above and beyond to help. I called Veterans Administration and after 3 tries we had a referral and xray was done. We had gotten stuck in traffic that morning along park on top level of parking garage we did not want to go back. We so appreciated Mathis and his help. Thanked him for resolving with us. Mary & Bob
