I've been going to the UVA Women's midlife health for 10 yrs. It's ridiculously difficult to get refills on my HRT combination of caps, creams and patches. No response (no re-assigned Doc with my reg. one is on vacation, so..you SOL if you run out of a refill). Just go without. No way to verbally even ask, it's "Contact your pharmacy", and my pharmacy has frequently gotten no response for a week+, only to tell me "contact your provider". Then, they can't get the Rx fill quantity right (need 90, get 60) when they finally send... read more
Dr. Redick is a wonderful doctor. She listened to our concerns and was committed to finding answers to an ongoing issue that was causing debilitating symptoms. We had seen multiple other women’s healthcare doctors before coming to this practice and finding Dr. Redick. She took her time with us, explaining possible reasons for symptoms and thoroughly discussed options for diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Homewood was great. Check-in and the nurse who initially took me to the room for vitals was great. It was well worth the wait.
I felt like they took time and listened to my concerns.
I go here for both gynecological services as well as my mammogram and bone density tests. Dr. Michelle Rindos is amazing--superb expertise and outstanding at both listening and explaining. I also have nothing but praise for the staff over the many years I have for these services. I drive 100+ miles one way for appointments and the care I receive is more than worth the trip.
