My husband went to the ER on June 15 due to atrial fibrillation. While he was there, we were in contact with his cardiologist at UVA, who submitted a referral that same day for him to see an electrophysiologist. We were told someone would contact us within a week to schedule the appointment, but no one ever did. After that week passed, I repeatedly tried calling the office, but every call went to voicemail. I’ve been coming to this office for quite a long time now it’s Sentara Cardiology Specialist. If you have to use the restroom you better use it before you come because this is an extremely large office with multiple exam rooms and procedure rooms. It’s a very large larger office. I asked if I could use the restroom and they told me I had to go out into the hall and down past the elevators. I had to leave the office to go to the bathroom. First, I want to thank God, and I want to thank Dr. Bergin, the entire medical team, Beth Fallin, Kelly, the nurses, CNAs, cafeteria workers, and every staff member who has been part of my journey.
