The uva health ent clinic is an urgent care at the uva campus in Charlottesville VA. The waiting room was too loud and it took me so long to make an appointment
I had to share our experience at this office. We have to drive over an hour to get there - thankfully it's super easy to get to right off of 29 - we arrived 30 minutes prior to our appointment, as we were asked to do. We checked right in, sat down ready to wait 30 minutes (or more) until they called us. We no more than sat down and pulled our phones out and they called us back - 30 minutes BEFORE our scheduled appointment. The office itself is fine, but I would definitely NOT recommend seeing Dr. Payne
Been on a call more than 20 minuetes and they hung up on me. i could hear them pick it up, says their own thing and hang up. now, i am on a call again, its been over 10 minutes... NOTHING. terrible
My son and I have been coming to UVA For years. My son was scheduled for surgery surgery. I took off work. He had to be out of school for two weeks and I had it planned for a couple months. They called a week before so they had an emergency and had to cancel so not only as my son still in pain, but we haven’t had the surgery done, which is holding him up from getting other things done I didn’t think UVA operated like this and I realize that emergencies come up but we live almost 3 hours away.
