UPDATE: I did report Utopia Builders to the store that I purchased from, I also filed a complaint with Home Depot at the corporate level. I did get a sizeable refund on the installation. Maybe anyone else who is dissatisfied with Utopia Builders can also get their money back. I had to stay active with the process, but I did receive a refund. So many poor reviews for Utopia Builders, looks like it wasn't just me. I'd leave negative stars if I could. I bought the door through Home Depot, from what I was told from them, this co... read more
Mike from Utopia Builders installed my storm door today. He was very professional and did a beautiful job! I'm very pleased with the work. This was scheduled through Home Depot.
Awful experience. After reading many of the google reviews, it appears others have had this same experience. Home Depot chooses to only contract through this company. I cannot imagine worse treatment than what I received, but based on the other reviews, maybe I'm wrong. Still, it pains me that I have to give them even a single star. Today they were supposed to send a guy to my house to measure for a door replacement. They gave me a window of 9-3, which immediately is pretty ridiculous as it is, but I accepted. So, maybe that one is on me. Around 3, he still hadn't showed up. I called and left one of the office people I'd dealt with prior a message. Around that time, I finally I received a... read more
