Home Depot subcontracts Utopia Builders to do installations. I had a door installed 3 weeks ago. This company came out and measured prior to installation and did not account for the section where the siding and the new door trim needs to meet. My door was installed and I have a section on each side of my door that has exposed sections. I was assured by Home Depot that this would be fixed. I'd leave negative stars if I could. I bought the door through Home Depot, from what I was told from them, this company handles door installations. I will never deal with Utopia Builders again. No thanks.
Door was damaged when arrived but installer said he could fix it. He did not install the plugs that cover the screws and now I find out my storm door won’t fit. Rachel definitely does not return calls. When I did get a hold of her she made the appointment for today between 12 and 5:00. No calls and they showed up at 6:00 pm. The first estimate given was 500.00 more than what the website said it should cost. I called and complained and the owner dropped it 500. Will never use them again!!!
I had a storm door installed and there’s an issue with the screen. I attempted to contact Utopia and left a couple of voicemails and have not received a returned call. This is my second storm door installation using a contractor from Home Depot, but my first issue. I’m disappointed in the lack of a response from Utopia Builder’s and hopefully my issue will be resolved soon through Home Depot.
