Mike from Utopia Builders installed my storm door today. He was very professional and did a beautiful job! I'm very pleased with the work. This was scheduled through Home Depot.
Awful experience. After reading many of the google reviews, it appears others have had this same experience. Home Depot chooses to only contract through this company. If you happen to miss their call (because you are not available), good luck ever getting in contact with them. They leave a call back number, but must never check their voicemails. We ordered an Andersen Storm door from Home Depot. Utopia got the job of installing said door. For starters the guy was days late installing the door. The door was installed incorrectly and wouldn’t latch properly. The first storm we had the door ripped in and bounced off our brand new house. The door got bent, and it bent the actuator and it has never worked correctly. I don’t recommend using this company.
I cannot imagine worse treatment than what I received, but based on the other reviews, maybe I'm wrong. Still, it pains me that I have to give them even a single star. Today they were supposed to send a guy to my house to measure for a door replacement. They gave me a window of 9-3, which immediately is pretty ridiculous as it is, but I accepted. Home Depot refers this useless scam company for door installation. Left 4 messages for Rachel. The call goes directly to voicemail. NO RETURN CALLS!!! Shame on Home Depot. When I call Home Depot with this issue, he stated that this is the ONLY company Home Depot uses. So Home Depot is in on the scam and keeps your 40 dollar deposit. NO WAY. I am calling my credit card company to report Home Depot and get my money back. I am disappointed in a multi million dollar company referring a scam company and ripping people off.
