Showed up to my appointment and was told I could stay and get diagnosed but could not come back unless I paid a bill for UTMB hospital, which had nothing to do with my hand. I explained I couldn't work without the use of my hand, they didn't care. I told them my deductible has been met, so they will be paid, they didn't care. I wish I had read the negative reviews before going there. A Dr office that doesn't care about helping people should not be in business.

I went to this clinic to Dr. Kosty. My left wrist hurt and I got an 5 minute exam and 1 xray of my wrist at the facility. I received 2 separate bills from UTMB. The first one was for the doctor’s charge ($415 for exam and $46 for xrays). The second one is for the facility charge ($323 for exam and $400 for xrays). The staff handle you a little rough and make light of your situation (rather upsetting when trying to be serious) but they get the job done well.

The doctor (Kosty) came in the room for 3 minutes max and barely acknowledge me during that time. Then left the room without saying anything. I was examined by somebody else. UTMB health across the board is poor choice. To big wanting to be the Wal-Mart of health care. The health care / insurance scam...
