Expensive and not helpful urology dept, nurses who were supposed to be available for calls on weekends even less helpful and rude. No one knew anything. Waste of time and money.
I recently underwent a cystoscopy at UTMB Urology in Texas City, and I am compelled to share my outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff, especially Resident Dr. Cole Nipper and Nurse Miranda Met Hoxha, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being. Would have given no stars if possible.Son needs kidney cancer surgery. Already has diagnosis that he needs surgery. Harris County address was confirmed when appt made and diagnosis explained, he needs a urologist.. Dr told him yes you need surgery. You are unfunded (no insurance) so you need to go to Harris county to get it done. Then charged him $200. I am a hospital case manager, so I found this to be poor business practice.
