waited 2 months for an appt, day of they collected my copay and put me in a room. the doctor came on and said he was the wrong kind of doctor and the appt was made in error and a new one had been made for a month from now. had me pee in a cup and Kept my money. three days later get my results in mychart.. turns out I have a serious infection and No one from their office bothered to check the results and call me. can't say I'm surprised. Drs. Do not call in prescriptions then you can not contsct them only a central operator who says she will msg. Him and he will contact you within 2 business days and he never does. Call back and same run around.

Avoid this place like the plague. UTMB is the worst organization to ever to claim to be a part of a wonderful college. Physicians and staff do not communicate within or outside the office. They also misdiagnose frequently. Save yourself and go somewhere else. Do not even come here for a 2cd opinion.

Made me wait TWO months for an extremely important appointment before I leave the country, to call me the day before, to tell me that the nitwit tat scheduled me, put me with a doctor that doesn't even do what I needed. Then I call for another appointment (they had my chart pulled up and have both my callback number) and they hung up, after I waited 7 minutes on hold, and never called back. Won't ever use them again. I'd rather go back to the urologist who I didn't like...at least he can get SOMETHING done.

It is always so stressful and frustrating dealing with UTMB. From start: when calling in for information/scheduling appointments to visits with the medical professionals. I have waited mins to an over an hour waiting to speak to someone and more than once the line disconnects only to have to call back and forced to wait all over again. Then the appointments are always rushed and staff consistently behaves as if they are in a hurry.
