Really poor service from this clinic and conflicting information about what is needed for military personnel and their families. If you’re a veteran or a veterans spouse I recommend you avoid UTMB Galveston and their incompetent staff.
Had to make an appointment 7 months in advance. Nothing available sooner. It was cancelled by the Doctor a month out. Was made aware of this by a message in their app. COULDN'T EVEN CALL TO INFORM ME. I called them to inquire and to reschedule, and the best they could offer is JULY 18th. That makes it over a year wait, and probably for mediocre at best care. This has happened on many occasions with other specialties. No care or regard whatsoever for the patient. I’ve always had a good experience coming here. The staff have always been very kind to me. I had some extremely painful symptoms come up, and when my appt was over a month away, they squeezed me in the next day. Overall, I definitely recommend this place.
Waste of time! Was told my appointment was on 4/16 and it was actually 4/15 so I missed it. Not empathetic about the fact that I’ve been waiting months to be seen after they canceled my last appointment and now can’t be seen for another couple of months. Left without making another appointment. Staff is not kind. Very frustrated.
