Honestly it’s crazy how this place operates. In January I got X-Rays and I came back as Scott free, just a sprain. The Dr at the time prescribed me Tylenol 3 for my pain. 3 nights ago I had a really bad fall and FRACTURED MY FOOT and ESSENTIALLY SPLIT MY TONGUE. They did X-Rays, they came back as conclusive for a fracture. Staff is not very attentive.
They say that they do sports physicals, but they won’t if your child is autistic and needs one for Special Olympics, even if you are a UTMB patient and they have access to your chart. I even called and specifically asked about physicals for Special Olympics and was told they do them. Also, the receptionist could not have been more unwelcoming.
I want to say the people are nice, yet make sure that if you were a victim of police brutality, that you don't bring it up because the doctor will likely just cover his own butt so he doesn't have to testify in court. Pretty messed up, feel gaslit.
Does absolutely no good to make appointment, appointment was at 10:15 arrive at 10:00 to be told I have at least an hour wait as they take walkins first what a policy!!!! A crappy policy appointments should come first someone needs to make some changes and like immediately
