I recently replaced the battery in my BMW X3, and with these newer cars, the battery has to be registered to the vehicle’s computer. The dealership quoted me $270 and said it would take about two hours, which felt pretty excessive. I tried to handle it with a friend, but we didn’t have the right equipment. It turns out my review below is/was not accurate. It was a miscommunication problem and I misunderstood the quote. Mea culpa! I changed the number of Stars in the review. "Try another shop. Very expensive. For an Engine Oil Filter Housing for Mercedes-Benz S350 they quoted me $4000 (13 hours work~$307/hour WTH?). The part costs ~$80. These guys are a small shop, but Dallas Utley is an honest man, and knows his stuff. Fixed my M3 after a curb incident. Showed me the broken parts and showed his love for BMW. Go see him and give these guys a chance if you don’t want to drive to the dealership.
