We took our 4 year old to the ER for sticking a bead up her nose. Dr. Taylor came into the room, looked in her nostril, said he didnt see the bead and he couln't help us beacause this hospital doesn't have the necessary tools, and recommended we try a different emergency room and/or ENT. On his way out of the room he stated that we would need to check out with the lady out front. She informed us that our insurance required a $250 co-pay. Their doctors are amazing, but the billing department is slow, unhelpful, and frankly just rude. I had an appt that was not covered by my insurance (as in at all, I would be paying completely out of pocket) so I called to see what was up. The original person told me that they just didn't like the diagnosis code, and it then took them 4 months to eventually get back to me, after I had called many many times just to receive no update.
