Teaching kids character. Might want to teach their parents first! It's embarrassing how they act at sports events! Yelling at the opposing team calling them "midgets who can't hit." Screaming and banging on the fence and yelling at the opposing team players when they would go up to hit that they're so bad they shouldn't even be playing. Etc. Etc. Etc. Apparently from what I've heard, this is typical behavior from UMA parents at all of their sporting events. Hopefully the school can teach the kids to be better than their pare... read more

As a cadet at this school, I love it. The teachers actually care for me and im not just some number in a system. Not to mention this school trys to be so active in the community and are always willing to help anyone in need. I love UMA from the facility to the cadets, we truly are a family.

Every school system needs to have a military academy within it. Whether you believe in the concept or not, is not important, what is important is that we as consumers of knowledge will be a healthier nation with a military academy as a choice for students.
