I could have died if I would’ve listened to Abbie’s medical advice. She told me I needed to lose weight when I’m actually severely underweight. She also refused to order a test that I desperately needed. After she refused I told her I didn’t like how she was treating me and I would go somewhere else who would do the test for me, but I wanted it in writing that she was refusing the test. I thought the PA named Abbie was abrasive, impatient, not a great listener and really rude. I was going over symptoms with the nurse and she barged in and cut him off. At that point he stopped asking questions and left the room. When she came in to see me, she asked me to move chairs and it was the fastest appointment I’ve ever had. They were also running behind because I was brought back 20-25 minutes after my appointment time. I hope the GI doctors are better.
