I have had two interactions with Utah Emergency Physicians. Neither were particularly enjoyable. Most recently they sent me a bill for $1200. I called them 4 times and they continuously said my insurance denied the claim. When I contacted my insurance they reported never receiving the bill. It finally settled, my owed portion was $0, insurance paid $151, and the adjustments were over $1000. If you get bills from these guys make sure to verify they actually billed your insurance and aren't just saying that it was denied. only... read more
Horrible horrible company
Dr. Pinawin provided outstanding care during my visit to the ED. She was calm, thorough, and genuinely attentive—explained everything clearly and made sure I felt heard and comfortable the entire time. Her professionalism and kindness made a stressful situation much better. Highly impressed.

Horrible billing practices. I didn’t even know why I was getting a bill from this group after an emergency room visit. Took 6 calls to get them to bill my insurance. Why when you go to a hospital, you get bills from independent businesses. I got no choice of using them. Why do I not get a bill from the hospital? That should be disclosed at the time of service.
