UCCU made a data entry error about 4 years ago, by mistyping my husband's social security number. Since then, they've been misreporting his credit. No one caught the error. Now, we are unable to close on our first home because of this. UCCU refuses to fix their error by updating the information with the credit beauraus. Now, we are homeless with our 1 year old daughter. UCCU has misreported (good credit) to credit bureaus in error under the incorrect social of my son (simple typo on their behalf). Because he has credit under two socials, it's a fraud flag and can't get their mortgage through underwriting. UCCU will not step up and take appropriate responsibility. The system "upgrade" that UCCU did is terrible. Their mobile app is basically not functional because it's so confusing and buggy. Their online support is robotic and not helpful. I have been with UCCU for over 5 years and things are getting worse very quickly. Find another bank.

I have been a member of UCCU for almost 40 years. I have been very pleased with UCCU. I'm sure the system upgrade was needed for many reasons, security probably being a high priority, but I HATE THE NEW SYSTEM! I will probably get used to it, but I so miss the page where I see my accounts and the loan payments that are due are in Red and I can just click on the "pay now" and have it done. The new account names are so confusing. I do not know what saving account I want now. Easier? No way! Safer? It better be!
Had some SERIOUS issues with the new app launch, but their customer support is ON POINT! As usual, the issue occurred on my end, so they were definitely not to blame, but even so, they gave me the time of day to get things fixed, kept me in the loop if I couldn't be contacted. and even gave me movie tickets (after recieving way too many of the ice cream vouchers) to make up for it! Like I said, the issue was my fault, but they handled the situation perfectly!
Avoid UCCU for another few months until they finally work through their "upgrade". What a mess. Good thing most of money isn't in UCCU....
Auto loan with them. I transfer money from my credit union to them, but no one knows where the money goes. I'm 2 months behind even though I've never missed a payment. Lame.
