How about they treat their customers like they meant something? We have been members there for 19 years. They are about to lose us before we hit 20 years. Not one time have they ever been competitive with other credit unions. This is the last straw. We are done with UCCU and will be changing banks by the end of this month.
Garbage. Pure garbage. Saw a pending charge pop up...deposited money...and still got charged an overdraft fee...before the charge went through. What?
DO NOT GET AN AUTO LOAN!!!! Go someplace else. Doesn’t matter where, anywhere would be better than UCCU. My car was purchased and immediately insured 7 months ago. Despite UCCU being listed on my insurance policy and sending them multiple electronic and physical copies of my insurance declarations, I have been charged $500 dollars and counting in additional insurance fees they have added for “lack of insurance”. Working with them is truly the most frustrating experience. The platform they use for online payments is outdated. They make making a payment so difficult. There is also outrageous hold times whenever you try to reach customer service.
They are a ripoff and exist only to screw over their members. I've been banking with them for 20 years and not once have they ever made me feel like I was a valued member. Their website is a joke, their customer service is even worse, and they are now charging for a ridiculous Prime account that isn't worth a dime. Avoid this credit union at all costs.
Outdated software and charge fees whenever they can! Two weeks with them and I'm now a very vocal detractor for UCCU!
RecommendedTrustworthy to work with servicing is wonderful I am very confident with them.
Today the ATM in Springville ate $210 and then printed out a receipt that said it only had $110 lost inside. I went into the building when it opened and talked to the staff inside (I think his name was Treston or something similar) and he helped my file an ATM dispute. I was worried that the $100 the machine didn't recognize would be lost forever but the full $210 was deposited back into my account same day. Thank you for taking care of me!!
