They have an Island desk as you enter. If feels like you are in a public forum instead of private banking. The banker is rude and dismisses your questions and concerns. The need for private consultation about banking products is a concern.

We have had several accounts with UCCU for almost 18 years, mainly because of the hassle to switch and change all of the accounts and automatic payments. Several years ago, they made some significant changes to their online banking, supposedly to make it more safe. What happened instead was they made it ludicrous and impossible for a normal person to get access to their own accounts and money. I've been trying to set up an account with UCCU for a month now and it's been my worst online experience thus far. After a month of emails, phone calls, and going to their website I finally was able to get access to my account. I then went to Mint to get my budgeting organized and Mint said my password for UCCU was incorrect. I went back to UCCU and couldn't get to my account because my password was indeed wrong.
