Beware if you are admitted to this hospital of a doctor not writing good notes and having your insurance deny to pay. I had an internal abscess that had my pain level at a 10 he first refused to give me the same pain meds given to me in the ER. I cried in pain for 3 1/2 hours for him 15 minutes before his shift change was willing to give me hydrocodone that makes me super sick to my stomach and nausea. With the pain I did not want to vomit. I’m a retired RN from UTSW, and am so disappointed with the service received today. I called earlier today (Monday) c/o 6-8 significant large spider bites on my torso (occurred Thursday night) and heard nothing back. I just called back and was told in a very disinterested voice that there is a 12 hour turnaround time. (Tomorrow). In my opinion, this is extremely poor patient care, and truthfully embarrassing for them.
My pregnant wife was rushed to ER here. Everything was neat and new. The Dr and nurses that attended my wife's health was extremely friendly and professional.
Nice place but the phone systems are horrible! Automated bot take a while to answer then no one answers phone when connected! Huge flaw in a newly built facility! 5 Stars on patient care 2 Stars on communication!
