They are taking forever to see patients. More than 2 months wait. I have CT scan showing my sacral canal almost completely swollen closed and they are letting me drive.
I was in the emergency room on 4/12/26 for severe back pain, they told me to see my pain Dr immediately, which is UT pain Clinic. I called the same day only to be told there is no openings until June. It used to be Drs wanted to see their patients immediately if they were in the ER. UT pain clinic does not care about their patients if they expect them to be in pain for close to 3 months. Stay away from them.
While waiting in the lobby, I heard the front office staff openly insulting, complaining about, and cussing over patients. One woman called and the woman speaking to her, Charlene, put her hold just to make fun of her to the other receptionist. She also mocked the woman’s story by saying to the other receptionist, “like, I don’t care about how you broke your stupid hand in California”, before rushing the patient off the phone. My first visit, I felt completely dismissed with the last provider I saw. I now only see NP Jessica Starnes, she is verrrryyy respectful and knowledgeable. She really does have great bedside manner while understanding the pain my autoimmune disorders cause. I can proudly say she is a great provider. I appreciate her for making me feel seen and heard as a human being. She is someone who listens and gives good feedback.
