My disappointment is related to their charges up front for services but when the student doesn’t do the job for what we pay upfront we suppose to receive our money back. They DO NOT want to refund my money. I wrote a complaint with the BBB but they had no responses from the dental school so I am still waiting for my refund. I signed up online to set an appointment to be seen. Adam called me and stated was is normally is an $80 charge would only be $30, if I set the appointment on the day we spoke. Of course, I agree. When I arrived, I was told I had to pay $50. upfront. 🤔 Then at the end of my visit, I was walked to the cashier and had to pay $30. That’s a total of $80. Not was what I was told by Adam. I visited the student dental clinic to fix a minor chipped tooth since I don’t have dental insurance. My initial screening visit cost $50, only to be told I’d need to pay an additional $80 for a "new patient appointment" to get more comprehensive X-rays plus another $100 to fix my tooth (though the student couldn’t provide an exact quote). The exam that I received was very thorough but after that, almost everything has been below par. They could benefit from assessing their administration and training practices and improve customer service. Here’s why I’m giving them 2 stars: 1) was billed incorrectly and had to contact the dentist to get it corrected; 2) requested my records, for which I paid over $600, but only received partial records; 3) requested the remaining records via email but have not heard back from anyone; and 4) I’ve been on the phone for over an... read more
