I don't remember names or their position, but the gentleman that came into the room to ask me questions before the doctor came in kept cutting me off while I was telling him my symptoms and how they have progressed. Then when he was checking my stomach he asks me how did I get the stretch marks.... ummm from my 3 pregnancies. Dr. came in to speak with me and tell me about my surgery and left within 5 minutes. Please educate your front office staff on identifying blind patients. My husband walked in with a blind persons cane and they asked him to sign in, he said I can't my wife usually does that, their response was take a seat and wait on your wife to come in.
Great medical staff, Dr. Dahlhausen perfomed emergency surgery on me in May 2023 and Dr. Candil put me "back together" in October 2023. Both of them showed extreme care and compassion during, and after the process. They explained things in a manner in which the lay person could understand and process and did not over-dramatize the situation. Michelle Reid was also invlved in both of the procedures and was just as greate as the surgeons were. The only reason I am not giving a five star rating is that the administration side w... read more

I’ve been to several UT Health RGV medical offices, and this one is just as disappointing as the others. I couldn’t stand how uncomfortable I felt. I ended walking out before I was called. It feels unwelcoming and passive aggressive in the front office. I will never accept another referral to any UT Health RGV locations again!
