Phone tag is the norm with the one person who sets appointments and who is only available for phone calls one or two days a week at the Midtown office, and she doesn't return phone calls promptly. I have a procedure scheduled next week, was told I would get paperwork. Still no paperwork, and the office just says they will leave messages for her. But the doctors are awesome!
We drove nearly 3 hours on icy roads to make our needed appointment, to find out they were closed. No one bothered to call us. Will never be back!
The problem with them is not the doctors (who are great by the way) but the support staff. They were supposed to call me a couple of days ago with the time of my surgery and pre-surgery instructions. They never did until I called them up late in the evening to find out what was going on. If they are short-staffed when it comes to keeping appointments and scheduling, they need to hire more people! Sad that they have only my 2 starts even though the doctors are excellent!
The quality of work is okay, however, keeping of appointment time is severely lacking. The staff unfortunately do not admit to any mistake on their part. I was called and informed to pick up my sister at 8.30 am. Being at work, I had to get excused by my superiors from work for an hour in order to pick her up. When I got there, her surgery hadn't even began-she was there at 7am. The staff did not bother to explain/apologize for this delay.
