My 17-year-old recently had a root canal and was offered nitrous oxide to help make the procedure more comfortable. We agreed and paid the additional fee. After the appointment, he told me he never received nitrous oxide and was only given a numbing injection in his gums. Had I not asked him about the procedure afterward, we likely would never have known the service wasn’t provided.
