Don't go here for mental health help! Nurses act annoyed and rude when you ask questions. I had a panic attack one of my first nights in there and the nurse told me " this is a learning experience! You're here to learn what not to do, so you don't end up here again!" As if I was a criminal serving time. Can’t not reach Dakota Wallace the manger for Billing for labs since they have TWO Office numbers for billing. I legit called at around 1pm on 6/16/26 and than tried 8:15am 6/17/26 and I still can’t reach him. And I’ve called a month prior before I mailed paperwork for financial assistance. And I just got accepted for state insurance so I know I should qualify. Poor management if you ask me.
The staff at Gateway behavioral health were really great the charge nurse Mariah and all the other nurses and techs were very kinda and understanding and really made my time there easier than I expected I’m very grateful for care I received there.
While traveling and away from home in our camper van, my husband and I were in a serious accident. Our camper van had tipped over onto the driver’s side and we were pinned in the vehicle along with our small dog. After emergency crews were able to cut us out through the windshield, we went via ambulance to the ER at Gateway Regional Medical Center for treatment and X-rays and later discharged.
