This was the holder of my H.S.A. at a prior company. The fees they charge are horrible and the advisory fees on the betterment investments are high as well. Customer service was not helpful. Had over $5k invested for years and came out lower than when I started. I realize that a lot of this is market driven but the fees really ate into any market gains I would have received otherwise. Glad to be done with them, but couldn't leave without a final $20 transfer fee that they took against my balance.
They call me 6-8 times a day even after I asked them to STOP, this has been going on for 2 months. If I block a #, someone else calls back from a different number. Each time they swear they will take me off the list. I cringe now when they sat US Health Advisors cause I feel the calls won't stop. I report most to National Do Not Call list. I don't know what else to do. Once I let them help and they messed up the entire application so I had to go back and redo everything myself. It's better to do it yourself.
We pay insane amounts of money every month to have "access" to health insurance and then when we actually need to use it, the health care professionals refuse to accept it, stating they can't get UHC to pay their invoices. I have had three different providers from two different fields say this same thing. United refuses to pay, or delays payments. This is causing a situation where I have very fews in town options for health care. Unacceptable
I am warning others about this business who does not care about their employees, they brag about firing people, they have no confidentiality and they create a hostile.work environment and do nothing to help. I would stay clear of enrolling in any benefits through UHC or being employed by this organization.
They pass the buck -not their problem show a price and then -Charge a higher price-was told you can not rely on the quote by customer Service Rep
Undoubtedly one of the most broken ************* in the history of mankind.
This is only because it's the lowest rating available. Their customer service relays overseas to people who barely speak English. And then you end up having to give the same information over and over again with no good results for your call in the first place.

Optum RX repeatedly cancels my childrens prescriptions even though the doctors expressly prescribed the meds for them. Their cancellations would leave them without medication for over a week at a time. It takes hours of time trying to resolve the situation only to have the prescriptions cancelled or delayed by Optum RX. We have to call our doctors to write urgent prescriptions that cost more money, time and stress. United HealthCare is a terrible insurance. they have sent me a letter to notify me (not even give me a choice), to notify me that they'll be changing my son's ADHD medication arbitrarily and because they have a found a generic cheaper option. Insurance's are the biggest scam and have zero oversight, hence they get away with things like this.
