The Swallow Center at USF changed my life in ways I didn’t think were possible. After 3+ years and over $20K in medical expenses from my GI misdiagnosing me with GERD, he sent me to USF as a last resort to figure out why I was having chronic indigestion, which was mistaken for acid reflux. I can not say enough about everyone at this facility and the care they provided. I was diagnosed with achalasia, which made life miserable to say the least. Both Dr. Saad and Dr. Jenkins took the time to fully explain everything to me and answer all of my questions (Dr. Jenkins gave me the impression that he wanted me to ask more, lol....it is so refreshing to meet with doctors who don't try to rush through the exam).
