I couldn't and wouldn't ask for a more supportive and professional Doctors office. The entire team from the south tampa location to Brandon are absolutely amazing. Front desk, medical assistants, and the doctors are amazing. My delivery couldn't have been better and the post care from the nurses makes me so happy I chose USF health.
Just had the most traumatic experience of my life here. I understand I showed up at Tampa Gen in labor with twins without a heads up of any kind. I came looking for a doctor with a specific set of skills, but the entire experience from start to finish was completely unacceptable. Im genuinely shocked at the care I received. To make matters worse, this is a teaching hospital so the next set of doctors will behave the same way when presented with a case like mine.
I struggled with what rating to give, but as far as I know my surgery went well and healed well too. My issue is, not only did I have a laproscopic hysterectomy but I had an IUD removed at the same time. Hormones all over the place apparently. When I returned for my 6 week follow up, I asked who is going to help me transition and was basically dismissed and told to see my primary. Confused I just gave up and said ok. I’ve had 5 kids, this is my first with this office. It was the worst experience I’ve had with an OB/GYN. Nobody knows what’s going on because you see a different provider every time. So one week you are told one thing, the next appointment something totally different. They falsified several of my medical records, which is abhorrent in my opinant now I have to go through hoops to try to get that false information off my record.
