I have filed my wife to come to America, may of 2024. I am a us citizen. I don't understand why it's taking so long to make a decision. It’s frustrated
I have filed a petition for my husband to come to the US in July 2024. I am a US citizen. I have only received a notice of payment recived so far. I don't understand why it is taking so long to get a decision. When I filed the petition, it was said it would take a total of 8 months, and now it has been 379 days. I am getting frustrated. They have everything I need and I only got a receipt. I feel very sad and frustrated being away from my husband for so long.
I had questions about my visa application process so I called the number listed. Rather than being able to talk to a person to get my questions answered I was put on with some sort of AI. There was no path to take that would put me in touch with a human and the call ended with the AI program hanging up on me. This was overall very frustrating and Im very disappointed in the system of customer service.
