I gave birth to my son at Verdugo Hills Hospital in Feb of 2010. I wish I had known in advance that this hospital doesn't allow filming or pictures to be taken during the birthing process. I've never heard of a hospital not allowing you to snap a picture of your child as they are entering the world. I gave birth in 2008, in Atlanta, and was allowed to film the entire experience. Recently had a very positive experience here with the folks who work in the ER and X-ray departments. They went out of their way to be helpful, and are especially good in dealing with frightened children.
Had to bring my 5 year old in for an x-ray on a Saturday. I can't say enough nice things about the staff here. With radiology unexpectedly closed I had to work my way over to the ER to find someone to help. They took the time, outside their normal scope of duties, to track down the right people and get my son's x-ray set up. Not surprisingly my 5 year old wasn't too thrilled with the idea of an x-ray.
