I have a 1400 sqft home built in 1920 with all wood siding. I was quoted 23k to have it all sprayed in with foam insulation. I’m getting the house rewired and the salesman suggested I do the insulation before the rewire. 😂. The salesmen are very very confident. After more research I found you can’t fill an old wood home with this stuff. The wood can’t breathe and it will slowly start to get soft and moldy if your home doesn’t have proper vapor barriers beneath the siding.
