Hello In August I had your company insulate my house. The ice buildup on the front of the house has gotten worse. I realize this winter has been very cold but thought the new insulation would help. The ice dam is over 18" thick I'm concerned the gutters will tear away from the roof. My theory, the insulation in the attic has prevented heat from escaping out the ridge vents. Attic Insulation: excellent work in the attic May 2025 - when it was brutally hot outside and inside. The team did a great job under the duress of hot temps. I called to have my attic insulated. USA insulation will estimate all work needed in order to maximise their cost to the states NYSERDA program but will tell you on the last day of work what they can't do. Like my attic. If I had been told that the attic wouldn't have been done I would not have hired USA Insulation. When I complained to Scott the supposed store manager he said they sent the smallest guys they had but couldn't get into the attic?
