This vetcenter legitimately cares about veterans and spouses. They don't judge anyone and each counselor has their own methods. If you're not making a connection, they will accommodate you by placing you with a different counselor. They're great about getting you to the services that the VA offers too. I would highly recommend this place as a path toward healing.

I am the estranged wife of a retired sailor. Believe me, after 30 years, I understand that the prime focus at a Vet Center should, of course, be the VET. However, as a VETERAN'S wife, I must shout that we also serve. I have often felt as an outsider looking in when dealing with some institutions but never more than in this instance. The challenge was not with the operator who was a rock star but with the staff who work at this center. Do better
