I was a homeless vet at one point, having to live with other people to keep a roof over my head. These a-hats called me asking for a donation to help homeless vets. I told them I was a homeless vet and needed help and they just hung up on me. Just got another letter from them today claiming that I pledged $100 to them and asking me to send them the money. Do not send these scammers anything!
scam. bank account debited $25. did not donate. be careful. monitor your bank accounts!
I received a similar call and would not give my CC info over the phone. There are other organizations that help vets that are more worthy of my money and time.
