Horrible intake experience. No correspondence from SS office once appointment complete. I am not on my 4th phone call to track down info. I should have had funds coming in Sept 2024...it's not February 2025. What a ridiculous system! Time on hold 360 minutes.

Came in expecting everything to be in order since I had my passport, birth certificate, etc. I was just replacing a card that I had misplaced. My Mom came with me. She is a very intelligent women who doesn't say anything without knowing that her information is accurate. We were both very confident that my appointment would go well. Be careful when you travel to any appointment under SS guidance. The office admin in Raleigh, is giving the forms with the wrong rates for travel, $0.21. If you drive personal vehicles, your rate is the Federal rate for 2025 is $0.70 for NC. Need oversight The office for SS is wasting our time and money if you are already being seen by an NC certified Dr. It should reciprocate to SS administrative offices. That Mr Gamez at window 5 today was so short and rude it made no sense! Take him off customer service!!! Calling this office is upsurd no one answers and if they do nobody says anything!!! Can we please get an office that is efficient and sufficient for clients???? Ridiculous! Totally unsatisfactory how many times I have called this office and got nowhere or nothing done!!!
