Very helpful employees at Butler, PA Social Security office. Tyler, answering the phone was kind, respectful, and helpful, and Darla was kind, respectful, helpful and efficient. I can’t thank them enough, but will try. I’m very grateful for your help today, Tyler and Darla.

I spent over a full month dealing with them only for them to tell me I was overpaid and that I owe $1487 and some change that social security can take out of my bank account at any time. I come to find out the days they said I was overpaid make no sense since I was told by the same people at social security that they hadn't been sending money to me during that time period. That and talking on the phone or in person makes no difference since they keep promising answers and I'm only left with more questions. I honestly would s... read more

I had called at 2:27pm today. I was on hold for over 3 hours and 20 mins. Someone answered and I could hear their breathing. Then, they disconnected the line and it took me to the survey! I’m super upset that I wasted all this time trying to get ahold of them.

I went to sign up for social security on 2/10/2025, My birthday is on the 27th, no one except 2 other people in there office, I was told I will get an appointment by phone on March 28th!!!! What is going on with this office? I hope Trump cuts their jobs because there's no reason why they couldn't have taken care of this right then and there!!!
