on phone for hour before someone picked up. been in this building several times never a line so why dont you answer your phone.
The lady that answers the calls is absolutely the rudest person!!! She should not be able to talk to senior citizens. She tells them they “might” get their benefits if she processes the paperwork. These people call for help and she treats them like garbage. Adults who are retiring are entitled to their benefits on time. Not when she feels they should get it. I had a wonderful experience at the Social Security office in the Park Ave Plaza. The lobby was very clean. I pulled a number and was seen very quickly. The SS Agent was very nice and went over everything. The agent scheduled an over the phone interview that day however that was scheduled two months. And later on right on the date and time scheduled I got the call. The whole process was handled very efficiently and professional.
I just moved here a few months ago and I just called to update my info,,let me tell ya what, the lady i spoke to was very rude,,i would rather sit on hold for several hrs at the 800 # than deal with her crap,,no wonder people have nothing good to say about this place,,
SSA is currently hiding new immigrant enrollment numbers............ I've been waiting for a year and a half for SSI this is total trash. Thank God Chief of OIG Gale Ennis is gone they need to clean up the corrupt ses pool, all claims under her watch need reviewed by an independent agency. A discriminatory crooked system run by crooked ladder climbers that discriminated even on their fellow whistle blower coworkers.... ironic. Hello bankruptcy, so long credit card.
