Never been to a ssa office that doesn't consistently see walk ins. They had a window open saw 3 people and closed the window for 30 minutes. I know it's slow but it's not that slow.
This sounds weird but I had a great and easy experience at the social security office. I wanted to be the first person since the social security office can easily turn into a DMV style of waiting. I showed up at 8:30am on a Friday and waited by the door. They unlocked the door at 8:45am, I took a ticket and was able to sit in the waiting area. I’d give 0 stars if I could, for the past 4-5 months this place has given me the biggest run around about my disability back pay, also disability payment that was skipped today when I was supposed to receive it. After calling the representative I got basically told none of the other representatives I’ve spoken to told the truth, or posted a review like they said they would that I would hear something in a month. You’d get more work done if you assisted customers while taking calls instead of just leaving them on hold for 10 minutes while you take a smoke break or whatever. This is ridiculous
