I am so thankful my call was transferred to this Social Security office in Martinsville! You have a truly compassionate and bright woman named Shauna that helped me on August 21, 2025! With the assistance of her co-worker, my claim for retirement was finally approved after waiting since my interview on June 12. Went to Martinsville Social Security office to ask a question about my Social Security payment. The sign-in kiosk was easy to use. I was given a number and waited about 10 minutes before l was called to the window. My issue was solved very quickly by the gentleman who waited on me. However, the Security guard jokingly told us the office was closed when we walked in. If he thinks he is being a comedian perhaps he is in the wrong line of work.
