Very helpful
The IRS experience as a whole has been negative. I take care of another person’s finances which every year requires lots of documents. Ninety percent of the calls, you can’t get through because they are too busy. If you can get through, sometimes the wait is two hours. Then the rep can’t help. Tried going to the office and was turned away because to busy although it was at opening time. Hard to get appointment. But when we do, Kat and Dakota have been very helpful. Appt was at 8:30am, first appt, was finally seen at 9:20 because the lady was “doing her time card”. She stated this two times as the security person was announcing which appointments were there. (The other lady’s computer wasn’t working and a third lady came in late) Waiting 50 minutes because you’re doing your time card???? Insanity. When I left at 9:30 all the chairs were full and people were standing because they were running so behind at that point. Nuts.
I couldn't even get through to make an appointment.
